images that stimulates memories

For years I have seen things, had thoughts and remembered events. Sometimes they seem to come in no apparent order and follow no linear timeline. I don't know if it's always been that way, but after years of making images; mostly photographs, drawings, and prints. I have found a way to merge the images together. They feel oddly familiar like, I've seen them before, experienced in the moment.  Are these dreams made manifest or composites of my experiences?  Maybe a bit of both.  Notation from Gridville 2017 ink, drawing, print on paper mounted on canvas 15 1/2" X 20" About the process The images are run through MAX, then through a capture button. the images are then processed through Photo shop, separated into CMYK black and white positives, and then printed by hand using a process that could be compared to hand lithography. The prints are then mounted onto canvas, hand colored then sealed with matte medium.

The image was engraved on stone and then printed using traditional lithographic techniques. There will be an edition of 20, hand printed printed and then sold for $20.00 each  This is a fundraiser for The Center For Collaborative Research.

The NEW/OLD Litho Press getting ready to for its new life. It feels great to be back in a shop. I remember how alive I felt when I was working at the press. I had a momentary taste while getting the shop ready.  Stay tuned.
