Today the fog rolled in and swallowed up everything. The film will have to wait to reveal it's latent image.

Peanut and Friends, A playdate, Louisville c.1975

Tootie, Louisville c. 1975

There were these two boys, brothers, Tootie and Peanut (their nicknames)- they lived downstairs from Marilyn and me. Their mom  Diane was a Free Spirit- an entrepreneurial single mother. Tootie would come upstairs, a very curious kid, autistic or something, mildly mentally challenged. He loved taking stuff apart. I taught him how to use a camera and to work the stereo equipment. He never took apart the various electrical or mechanical devices I had laying around.

One day this guy came over to the house, He drove up in a shiny new Cadillac. It was Tootie's usual habit to greet visitors who came to the house. This guy didn't pay Tootie any mind, he sort of just brushed him off and made his way into the house.

Tootie got into the Cadillac and lay on the floorboard underneath the drivers side and tore out the wiring under the dashboard. Just pulled out wires from their sockets. He was good at that.

The guy never came back.
