It's a new dawn, and new perspective

At a place where I need to look at everything again. I'm not who i use to be, and yet i'm slipping into this new mode of being.  It might be what it feels like as one get's older - the urgency to succeed is replaced by the necessity of taking in, adsorbing the moments, the smells, the light, and sounds, as much as I can handle with the time thats left. Meanwhile downstairs in the patio, there is a birthday party for little kids. Ballons and cupcakes, squeals of delight, while the adults sit and watch.
