Lost Nuts and Found Bolts

Out of all the things I am willing to share, it is images. constructed or mashed together. cousins, nephews, grandchildren, and babes in arms.  A constant motion of the horizon line, from sunup to sundown  getting back home, finding my way back home.  After leaving Chicago, and moving to Kenosha WI. I thought how is this going to work.  Last week Marilyn and I  drove to Chicago to pick up Anchor Graphic's portable etching press. We have it on a 5-year loan from Columbia College Chicago. We intend to use the Press for  Center for Collaborative Research  programs. and with Kenosha Creative Space activities. It's a  golden  opportunity to resurrect our POW(Press On Wheels)outreach programs.  If  anyone has a van they want to donate let us know. Meanwhile, while the Kenosha Creative Space gets underway Family photos: Marilyn in an ancient forest in Ireland, 2015.  Notice the Stones in the background we were told those stones were the remnants of an ancient village. They are slowly being reclaimed by the forest. 

 The following images are an outgrowth of my interest in MAX with over 3 thousand images, it begins to make sense.  Always clicking the shutter. From film to digital. But how to use this source has always been the challenge.  Like layers of experience and memories layered over time. A palimpsest of images merging into one another, scratching the surface revealing time. Some of these images may never find their way from here but others will be expressed on walls, on surfaces. Here and then gone. The images are unique and are much akin to seizing the moment, capturing the light. "Fire On The Mountain" 4/7/2017 planographic transfer on paper w/hand coloring,  13 7/8" X 21 7/8" finding my way back to a beginning, full circle. I remember watching these guys use photographic projections,  to create these visual montages, then there was the light shows at the Fillmore and the Avalon Ballrooms, filling my head with \ images, I think, I have finally found a way to make these images appear.  Next, to integrate sound and motion.
